What to Expect When You Visit

We encourage you to come visit with us any time.  We offer three services a week and would be graced by your presence any time you have the opportunity to be with us.  Our meeting times and directions are posted above on the menu.

It is our sincere desire for our services to be as pure as possible and to worship as in the same way that Christians worshiped in New Testament times that we may please and glorify God.  This is evident in our Music, observance of the Lord's Supper, laying by in store, Studies and Preaching.

• The music in our worship to God is made as we sing together in the form of congregational singing just as the early Christians did.  We do not use musical instruments or make use of a choir.  Each service we are led in song by one of the members of the congregation.  
• Every Sunday, as the early Christians did, we gather together to observe the Lord's Supper in remembrance of Christ's death.  This is one of the primary purposes that Christians gathered together on the first day of the week during New Testament times.
• Each Lord's day we take a collection from the members of the congregation.  This is the only means the church uses to collect funds.  We do not conduct fund raisers or any other means of generating funds.  Those who are not members of the congregation are not in any way expected to contribute.
• Our studies and preaching are taken directly from the Bible.  While we may use outlines to supplement our studies we do not rely on creed books or other literature to establish our teachings and practices.  We do offer Bible study classes for young children and teenagers.
